I am having the same problem as Chetanya however my problem also includes lists that I've added to the quick launch bar such as the Event Calendar and Discussion Board as well as People and Groups.

The only thing that I see in common with these links is that they are all lists. I have no idea what is going wrong.

I am facing the similar issue, but instead of sub-site I have aspx pages eg: People and Groups (_layouts/people.aspx) as a top navigation which never gets selected.

Any help is appreciated!

I was activating this publishing feature for some other purpose in my site.. i noticed that the name in the site is changing from 'Home' to site title after completing some other settings of my deployment script, . I didn't realize its because of this feature..

I was in a mood of thinking like 'something happening good' and changing that from Home to site title.. :) until i see your post..
